Community Improv Jam – Thursdays @ 8:00 PM MT

RISE Comedy’s Community Improv Jam is an open invitation for you (yes, you!) to COME PLAY on the RISE Comedy stage with some of Denver’s most supportive improvisers.  Put your name in the hat by 7:50, and you’ll be cast on a one-time team for the 8:00 show that same night!  It’s FREE to watch, FREE to play, and ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME, so come on and jam!

Individual Jam – If you’ve been there all three weeks you are eligible to play longer sets with the host teams. This is a great way to be supported by more seasoned performers and in turn you get to learn onstage training basically.

BARKLEY:
Featuring the cast of Hoosiers all grown up, Barkley performs longform improv in a full court slam dunk of comedy free throws. Barkley is a Denver improv team that hosts the Free Community Night Improv Jam at Rise Comedy.

DISTRICT 9:
District 9 is the longest running BIPOC team in Colorado. D9 build worlds, create characters, and tell original stories – authentically and unapologetically! Get to know the performers as people based on stories they tell prompted by audience suggestions, then watch the improv unfold!

5th Thursday – On the rare occasion of a 5th Thursday: Individual Jam: Barkley, Team Jam: A Mystery Team
