What if a boy grew up only watching the ridiculous shows his dad allowed on the tv? What if that boy grew up and found improv comedy? That’s exactly what show creator and director Matt Rodriguez did. This show is a direct celebration of the shows he watched as a kid on the one and only tv in the family home. It’s a celebration of one show in particular that crossed all bounds of absurdity. Walker Texas Improvisor is a narrative long form improv comedy show where the audience picks the episode, and the cast finishes the story. Audiences can expect silly villains, law enforcing cowboys, hapless extras, onstage costume changes and yes, even the almighty roundhouse kick.
