We’re inviting all Denver teams to take part in our team jam! This is for any team in the area, but newly formed teams and show ideas are also highly encouraged.

Show up and sign up your team to perform a ~10 minute set (set times depend on the number of teams that show up).

This will be a good chance to get some time on stage with your team in front of a friendly audience made up of the community.

NOTES:
*If there are too many teams, we will draw from a bucket and if you didn’t get on you’ll be eligible until you get onstage.

TEAM JAM HOSTS:

BASEMENT DOCTORS
A long form improv troupe in which none of the performers has a PhD (well… one of us does now…). Each show is inspired by a text message from the audience and always gives doses of excitement and emotion. As hosts of the weekly Team Jam on Thursday nights, Basement Doctors is well engrained in the RISE community. Each show, we invite a few teams from the Thursday night Team Jam to perform before us. We want to showcase the talented performers that have helped make this community so strong and one of a kind. Come out and join us for a laugh… Doctors’ orders.

NECROMANCER
Necromancer summons apparitions via improv. these apparitions are also known as “characters.” these characters have fears, desires, and deep, dark secrets. they write about these things in their diaries. the audience becomes privy to the content of their diaries thanks to a series of hexes and curses. and then, if the ritual has been performed correctly, the audience engages in laughter.

Benign Nuisance is a group of mischief-makers bringing you some of the best improv comedy in Denver. Performing shows completely made up on the spot we create surprising, silly, and slightly strange scenes that will keep you laughing. LAUGH TRACK
Laugh Track is a fast-paced improv comedy show featuring short form games that will keep you laughing all night. Complete with a full bar, audience participation, and plenty of laughs, you can catch this show on weekends at Rise Comedy.

RISE COMEDY HOUSE TEAMS
Our RISE House teams deliver long form theatrical style improv for you based on your suggestions. These veteran performers from the theater and classes are in our HOUSE TEAM Program.  RISE Comedy Friday Night Mainstage House Teams will feature four stellar teams, that’s like getting two shows for the price of one!
