A bearded man gestures expressively with his hand, wearing a white shirt against a black background. His intense, focused expression suggests hes speaking passionately—perhaps honing his craft for Denver comedy or prepping for improv classes in the city. Todd Couch is a writer, performer, instructor, coach, one-liner co-champion, game master, dad, and nap enthusiast living in Denver, CO. He was in the first ever class to graduate from RISE Comedy formally known as Voodoo Comedy Playhouse over ten years ago. He also studied improv and sketch at the Magnet Theater in New York City, Pack Theater in Los Angeles, Second City in Chicago.

Todd Couch is a founding member of the improv team “Barkley” which has been running weekly over the past seven years. Todd Couch has performed with hundreds of jamsters and has learned the hard lessons of letting go of your ego and fully committed support. Todd Couch also performs with “OVER elvis,” “Makeshift Shakespeare,” “Father Figures,” and is a cast member in Nick Armstrong’s latest sketch show, “A Notable Unnotable.” A lifelong comedy nerd, Todd spent his mid-life crisis learning everything he could about comedy, stand up, improv and sketch. Todd is now an instructor at RISE Comedy to fund research into a time machine to go back and teach everything he knows about comedy to his 17 year old self. Until that time he is passing that knowledge and encouragement on to you with his supportive dad energy. The RISE Comedy green room sofa is named after him, the Todd Couch Couch. They got your back.
