Jumbo Night Live (Medford, MA / Tufts University)
Jumbo Night Live is Tufts University’s answer to Saturday Night Live, delivering bold, original comedy written, produced, and performed entirely by Tufts students. Inspired by the energy and format of SNL, but fueled by a distinctly Gen Z voice, JNL blends live performance with digital media, creating a fast-paced and fearless show that reflects the absurdities of campus life and beyond. Since its founding in Fall 2022, JNL has become a comedy incubator for rising writers, performers, filmmakers, and creatives, gaining a loyal following both on and off campus. Jumbo Night Live is non-audition, and welcomes everyone to learn, perform, and produce comedy and creative media, regardless of experience or skill level. With sharp satire, absurd characters, and a commitment to chaotic fun, JNL is redefining what college sketch can be.
