What if stand-up comedy is secretly just practice for being a person?

After 16 years of telling jokes and more than six years teaching other people how to tell theirs, Christie Buchele has learned a few things about comedy, life, and bombing.

Loose Threads is part stand-up show, part comedy class, and part live excavation. Christie pulls at the lessons hiding inside the craft of comedy: how to trust your instincts, commit to a bad idea, survive silence, pay attention to what actually gets a response, stop trying to control the room, and figure out which parts of yourself are worth following even when you have no idea where they’re going.

There will be jokes. There will be lessons. There will probably be tangents. Come pull a thread and see what unravels.
