New COVID & Vaccination Policy – Effective 3/1/22

RISE Comedy - Denver Improv Comedy Bar & Theater - Improv Comedy Classes

We’ve decided to lift our proof of vax policy for our shows and classes for the time being. Examining the Covid and hospital data, the current cdc/state/city guidelines and in conjunction with our desire to be an inclusive space for those who have legitimate historical and medical reasons for being hesitant to be vaccinated has lead us to this position.

Balancing issues of public health and staying in business, all while providing a space for growth and joy for our performers, students and fan communities has been challenging.

We also know that we aren’t out of the woods, so there is always a chance we end up bringing back this and other policies as data and guidelines evolve. As a heads up, when/if we do, it’s likely being fully boosted would be a part of that.

We have a very vaccinated community of patrons, students and performers. This will serve as good protection from spread as we relax the proof of vax policy.

We will continue to monitor the situation, encourage folks to be fully vaccinated, welcome mask wearing and keep the policies of asking folks to stay away when exposed or showing symptoms in place.

I also want to say at every step of the way this community has shown it’s care for us, each other and our larger community. Thank you so much for your support.
