🎓 From The Sketch School
This workshop is part of The Sketch School — our online sketch comedy training center where writers from all over learn to create killer sketches. We’re all about helping you build skills, find your voice, and have fun doing it!
👋 Meet Your Instructor
“Hi! I’m Marc Warzecha – Founder of The Sketch School and a former longtime head writer and director at The Second City, where I’ve worked with performers you know from SNL, Key & Peele, I Think You Should Leave, and Ted Lasso. I’ve taught sketch writing for Netflix, Comedy Central, and even the U.S. Embassy (weird but true). This workshop is one of my favorite things to teach, and I can’t wait to share it with you.” (More on Marc)
✍️ Want Personal Feedback on Your Sketches?
All workshop participants will be invited to our free online class forum, where you can voluntarily post your sketches, give feedback to your classmates, and receive feedback in return!
👉 Looking for even more personalized feedback?
Once the workshop kicks off, you’ll also have the option to enroll in a formal Writers’ Room lead by your instructor, Marc Warzecha. In this small group setting (limited to just 6 writers), you’ll get live, in-depth feedback on your scripts each week. Details on purchasing enrollment in this optional add-on will be shared during Session #1!
