Necromancer & Benign Nuisance (RISE Comedy House Teams)

NECROMANCER – Necromancer summons apparitions via improv. these apparitions are also known as “characters.” these characters have fears, desires, and deep, dark secrets. they write about these things in their diaries. the audience becomes privy to the content of their diaries thanks to a series of hexes and curses. and then, if the ritual has been performed correctly, the audience engages in laughter.

In our performances, rigid narratives and predetermined plots give way to the exhilarating spontaneity of moment-to-moment improvisation. Our forte lies in the realm of organic, long-form improv, where each scene unfolds naturally, guided by genuine, in-the-moment interactions. As we explore this uncharted territory, we revel in the art of subtly escalating tension and the delight of playful uncertainty. Our goal is to captivate and slightly unsettle our audience, inviting them to join us in the unique, ever-evolving journey of each performance.
