Musical Improv 101 (Wed 4/9-4/30 @6:30pm)

Ever wanted to try your hand at musical improv?  Let’s do it!  In this introductory class, which is open to performers of all musical and improvisational skill levels, we’ll be exploring the fundamentals of musical improv and improvised songs, and you are guaranteed to have a GREAT time doing it.  Even if you’ve never made up a song before, by the end of this workshop, you’ll be belting like a pro!

Class Time: 6:30pm-9:15pm

Instructor: Lara Aziz Alder Lara Aziz Alder has over 18 years of improv experience both on and off the stage (helping run 2 Improv Theaters: ComedySportz San Jose and RISE Comedy). She is a Performer, Instructor and Former Director of Children’s Theater. Lara specializes in Corporate/Team-Building Improv training and is excited to add Musical Improv Instruction to the list! Lara currently performs with Hit and Run: Musical Improv® at RISE Comedy and during the winter holiday season, she can be seen about town singing with The Original Dickens Carolers. But her biggest passion is her huge furry family – if you ask, she’ll share pictures and stories that are sure to entertain!
