Minimum class size is 8 students.

IMPROV 401 (Mondays 5/7-6/26 7pm Skipping 5/29)

In Level 401 you’ll learn to recognize the pattern that scenes naturally create and learn how to exploit the tool of heightening to maximize the pattern’s impact in the scene.

Student Showcase: Sunday 7/2 between 6-9pm.

Prerequisite: Level 301

Todd Couch was in the first ever graduating class from the theater back when it was the Voodoo Comedy Playschool. He has been performing Improv, sketch, and stand up for the past ten years on stages all over town including the Opening Ceremonies of the Denver Comic Con. He is a founding member of Barkley and has been hosting the Improv Jam every week for the past five years. He also performs with Makeshift Shakespeare improvising hour-long Shakespeare plays. Todd has studied improv and sketch with classes, intensives, and workshops in Denver, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. He most recently studied at the Magnet Theater and the Pack Theater over the pandemic. The RISE Comedy Theater’s green room sofa is named after him, The “Todd Couch Couch.” They got your back.
